Kilian Hennessy has introduced his 9th fragrance: Love and Tears, Surrender. The 4th, and final, fragrance from his Love collection, this scent represents none other than the unconditional surrender to love.
The 4 chapters of the Love collection are:
Prelude to Love, Invitation (an innocent fragrance composed of Iris and citrus).
Love, Don't Be Shy (a passionate fragrance of Orange blossom and glazed sugar).
Beyond Love, Prohibited (a narcotic fragrance with Tuberose).
And finally, Love and Tears, Surrender.
Kilian felt the best way to express the range of emotions one feels when surrendering to love (such as excitement and fear) was through the multi-faceted scent of Jasmine. He used Jasmine from India, with strong orange blossom undertones. Combined with Bergamot from Italy, orange blossom from Spain, and Ylang Ylang from Madagascar, he wanted this scent to be both "erotic and sacred".
Prices range from $70 to $225 dependent on size, available exclusively at Bergdorf Goodman and Saks.
