Honest Company Launches Honest Beauty

Jessica Alba's launch of Honest Beauty is nothing short of impressive.  Usually you see a launch with a few products, but this is a skincare and makeup launch with a LOT of items.  We'll have to only mention the highlights here because there's so much good stuff.  There's cleansers for all skin types, makeup wipes, moisturizers, skin tints, powders, blushes, lip colors, eye makeup, and concealer.  And for an initial launch, it's a pretty impressive range of skin tones that it covers.  While I'm sure Alba will eventually expand its shade ranges, she's launching the line with cream foundation shades from "snow" to "cocoa", which is more than some brands ever carry.  (Seriously, the people who are still carrying anything in light, medium, and dark need to wake up).
Here are some of my favorite products that are available now on HonestBeauty.com
Everything Tinted Moisturizer contains SPF20 to protect the skin, chamomile, calendula, and aloe vera to calm, and orange flower water to hydrate.

The Eyeshadow Trios come in 6 different trios in sands, browns, mauves, blues, greens, and smokey greys.
The Concealer Duos also have chamomile and calendula, but also jojoba oil for a smooth, non-cakey coverage.  It's a cream formulation but it is surprisingly budge-proof, in my opinion.  It's possible I'm just used to the super-creamy formulation of RMS Un-CoverUp, but this doesn't seem like it will move as much.

The Creme Blush comes in 6 shades, and contains fruit extracts such as raspberry, grape, and blackberry for a flush of color that is rich in antioxidants.
The Gentle Konjac Sponge is the ultimate assist in skin cleansing.  Chamomile calms, while konjac root gently removes dirt, and pink clay detoxifies.  (This is expanded to full size sitting in a bowl of water).
The Beyond Protected Sheet Tint Daily Beauty Fluid is definitely one of my favorites so far.  It contains chamomile, calendula, aloe vera, hyaluronic acid, and zinc oxide.  This is a great little go-to for someone like me who likes no-makeup-makeup.
The Magic Balm is an all-purpose beauty balm made from a blend of organic fruit and botanical oils.  You can use it on chapped skin, cuts, scrapes, to moisturize lips, or even to highlight cheekbones with a dewy finish.
The True Velvet Eyeliner comes in 6 creamy shades, containing mango seed oil, vitamin E, and macadamia oil.  Pictured here, from right to left, are Eye Opener, Truly Gold, Truly Purple, and Truly Black.
There is really so much more to the line but these are the only things I've had a chance to try so far.  I'm sure this is not the last you'll be hearing from me about this line.
