Little pot of gold: Becca Beach Tint Shimmer Souffle
If you've been a long-time fan of the blog,
or even if you had just met me recently, you are probably well aware of
my love for Becca Beach Tint. If I were stranded on a desert island
and had to choose only a few products to take with me, Beach Tint would
be on the top of the list. Now the geniuses behind my some of my
favorite products have wed 2 of their best-sellers to make a rock star
lovechild called Beach Tint Shimmer Souffle ($27). They took the
Beach Tint and the Shimmering Skin Perfector formulas and somehow combined
them into a really cool whipped-gel formula to give a sheer wash of color
for the cheeks. Now, if you're familiar with both of these products
you'll know that they are liquid products, but the people at Becca have
actually taken the DRY pigments from both products and combined them with
wet ingredients to make a souffle-like cushiony texture, so it's good for
people who like powders, as well as people who like liquids. It has
the ease of a powder application, but the soft, blendability of a liquid.
It's the best of both worlds! The formula also contains hydrating
ingredients, like brown algae extract, so the water-resistant color will
stay put all day without feeling dry on the skin. It's also a multi-purpose
product since it's so waterproof. You can wear it on its own for
a subtle glow, or you can use it underneath your regular blush as a primer
to keep the color of your blush lasting all day, or layer it over another
blush to make a normally one-dimensional color into a multi-faceted, luminous
color. This new product gets points for fun, for its long wear, and
for its cool texture.
The 6 available shades are:
Lychee/Opal
Watermelon/Moonstone
Fig/Opal
Raspberry/Opal
Guava/Moonstone
Papaya/Topaz
I am just breaking into Becca Cosmetics. I recently purchased the Shimmering Skin Perfector Opal (pressed) on b-glowing but the product is on hold due to stock. Can't wait to try it out. I love the packaging and papaya / topaz looks beautiful.
