I'm so looking forward to some refreshing margaritas this memorial day weekend. Sauza tequila has provided us with a fantastic watermelon margarita recipe that is sure to please.
4 parts Sauza® Blue Silver 100% Agave Tequila
2 parts JDK & Sons™ O3 Premium Orange Liqueur
3 cups seedless watermelon, chilled and cut into pieces
½ cup lime juice, freshly squeezed
1 cup ice
Freeze cubed watermelon in a plastic bag for a minimum of 2 hours. Add all ingredients to a blender and puree until smooth. Serve in glasses rimmed with salt and garnish with a lime or watermelon wedge.
Now if you're not a domestic Goddess, or if you're just in the mood to try something refreshing and light, try Sauza's new Sparkling Margarita Watermelon. It's crisp, it's bubbly, it's light, it's refreshing, and basically it's perfect for summer. The newest addition to their Sparkling Margarita line (it also comes in Original Lime, Mango Peach, and Wild Berry) this is ready-to-serve. Just chill and pour, or pour over ice. Either way, it's simply perfection.
