Get the look: Connie Britton at the 2013 Emmy Awards

How-to:
Bowman started by shampooing Britton's hair with Leonor Greyl Shampooing Reviviscence and opted to NOT condition the hair so the curl would last throughout the evening.

Then, he prepped her wet hair with Leonor Greyl Lait Luminescence and towel-dried. He used Mousse au Lotus Volumatrice all over her hair and blew it out with a paddle brush. Next, he used Serum de Soie to give her hair some healthy shine, and added a little bit of Gel a l’Hibiscus along her hairline.

He sprayed Leonor Greyl Condition Naturelle on sections of Britton's hair and curled each section with a 1/2" curling iron, setting into pin curls as he went.  He misted Voluforme all over the hair to add texture.  

After the curls had cooled, he brushed out her curls with a large paddle brush and backcombed parts of her hair with a wide toothed comb.  To finish the look, Bowman used Spray Structure Naturelle to make the style last through the evening.  

Skin: Fiona Locke for St. Tropez

Locke gave Britton glowing skin using St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Spray, St. Tropez Self Tan Lotion Face, and St. Tropez Tan Enhancing Moisturizer, all skillfully applied with the Applicator Mitt.   

Nails: Beth Fricke for Essie 

Fricke started with a coat of essie’s go overboard, then applied essie’s luxe effects in as gold as it gets on the tips, fading down onto the base of the nail for a new twist on the old French manicure.
