Teen Vogue and Asos- Fashion Night Out

Teen Vogue and Asos online fashion store threw a block party for Fashion Night Out in NYC's West Village. There were tons of fun activities for people attending the party, and Asos sponsored a fantastic fashion show.
First the backstage looks for the show. A team from Sally Hershberger salon was giving a few different looks to the models' hair:
Long, loose waves (see fashion show pics).
The modernized Audrey Hepburn-esque 'do.

The messy fishtail braid styles.

Matt Fugate of Sally Hershberger downtown told me how to do the below look at home. (Matt gives the best blowouts in Manhattan. If my hair ever looks good, it's because of him. When it's a disaster, it's because of me.) A similar look can be created by placing several thick ponytail braids around your head (3 or 4 will do just fine), then twisting them into fun shapes, like how you would twist a messy bun. Bobby pin the twisted braids in to the desired place on your head and you have a fun party look in minutes. Great for frizzy hair days.

Mark makeup did the fresh faces for the show, and was also offering complimentary makeup applications to attendees of the block party. The makeup was simple and beautiful, but I'm going to disclose 2 secrets from the lead makeup artist of the show and Mark Beauty Expert, Anthea King, that are sure to make your look flawless. The first is this Mark's Glow Xpert face shimmer. This makes skin so bright, it's the perfect finishing touch to dab above your cheekbones or brow bones to give the face definition

.

The second is Mark's lipstick in Coral Fixation, with a touch of Glow Baby Glow lip gloss in M.Powerment Peach dabbed in the center of lips to create fullness. These shades are flattering for a multitude of skin tones.

And now for the fashion show pics:

I must have these dresses!
