New York Fashion Week: LAMB AW2012

The makeup:
Charlotte Willer used Maybelline products to show us a new take on Twiggy-style lashes.  Willer started by using Fit Me! Foundation on the skin for a smooth canvas, and then contoured the cheekbones with Fit Me! Pressed Powder in a shade that was slightly darker than the girl's skin tone.  The lipcolor was really natural since this look was all about the eyes, so Willer used a combination of Color Sensational Lipcolors in Nearly There and Born With It.  For the main event, Willer used Eye Studio Master Drama Cream Pencil in Sapphire Strength to draw a winged line on the upper lash line, and then another line in the crease.  She then painted on individual "lashes" on the crease line and the lower lash line using Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Blackest Black.  To finish the look she used The Falsies mascara, using just the end of the brush, to kind of clump lashes together to compliment the painted on lashes.

The nails:
Color Club gave us an updated take on the half-moon nail polish by using one color rather than 2 contrasting colors.  This look was a more polished, purposefully "chipped" nail effect.  The look was created with a layer of Stuck On You base coat, and then a deep wine shade called Killer Curves  was painted on 1/2 the nail.  The nails were finished with Color Club's 0-60 Speedy Top Coat for shine and to dry the models' nails quickly.

The finished look:
