Project Runway winner, Irina Shabayeva, showed her A/W 2010 collection at an off-campus location (read: I had to take a bus there, but it was well worth it). The hours and hours it must have taken to create this garments was very apparent in the show. The collection was flight-inspired, and not in an airplane sort-of-way. Every garment that came out had some sort of feather detailing, whether it be a print on a jacket, or a corset dress made of hundreds (maybe thousands?) of hand-sewn feathers. My favorite piece was the last dress in the video...so very chic!
