The Country vs Rock-N-Roll Debate

Why is it always a little bit country or a little bit rock-n-roll?  Can one be both?  Too Faced is encouraging you to embrace both sides of your personality with their new shadow collections.  I've always considered myself to be on the rock side of the argument, but seeing both of these shadow collections I don't know how I could possibly be expected to choose.  But Too Faced is on to something here...Their Country palette is inspired by Nashville, the Music City where most rock bands I love are from.  And some of my fave pop stars for that matter.  It's not all just Sweet Tea in the south.  Those Nashville peeps know how to cater to my inner rocker.  And the Rock N Roll palette is an obvious choice as well.  It's got all the colors you need for a night out on the town.  These Ulta exclusives aren't  available until June 1st, but I have a feeling people will have a hard time choosing between the two.
Too Faced Country Nashville Nudes eye shadow collection ($36) contains 9 highly-pigmented, long-wearing shadows that pretty much go with everything.  Darling nude shades like All American Girl and  Cowboy Take Me Away are complimented with pops of color like Rhinestone and Nashville.  And, like all Too Faced shadow palettes, it has their signature how-to guide to help you put together 3 different looks (though the possibilities are endless).
Too Faced Rock N Roll Rock Candy eye shadow collection (also $36) contains 9 shadows for a litany of edgy looks.  Nudes like Rockabilly are the perfect complement to sultry metallic shades, like Punk.  The combo of matte shades and metallics are sure to make anybody's eyes pop, perfect if you're trying to lock eyes with some mysterious drummer.  This palette also has the how-to guide to help you pull off the perfect rockstar combos.
So, which will you choose?  If it's too hard, just do what I do, and get both.  One shouldn't ever have to choose.

  1. I agree one should never have to choose and I would most definitely get both palette. There both contain unique colour in their own way. I know that too faced has single eyeshadow but they should really step it up a bit and add more shades to the single line.
