Get the look: Amber Heard at the 2014 Golden Globes

Who: Amber Heard
What: 2014 Golden Globes
Makeup: Matthew VanLeeuwen

How-to:
Matthew started by moisturizing Amber's skin with Cle de Peau Gentle Nourishing Emulsion, before priming her skin with (my personal favorite) Hourglass No. 28 Primer Serum.  He used Hourglass Hidden Corrective Concealer in Warm to hide imperfections, and followed up with Hourglass Veil Fluid Makeup in Light Beige.

Next, Matthew define the brows with Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil in Soft Brunette.  He used the shell shade from the Hourglass Vol. 6 Eye Palette as a base color all over Amber's
lids.  He used the bronze shimmer shade from Hourglass Visionaire Eye Shadow Duo in Gypsy in the crease and under her eyes. He deepened the bronze color using the brown shade from Vol. 6 Eye Palette on the outer corners, tops, and bottoms of the lids.  He lined her eyes with a deep plum pencil like MAC Eye Kohl Prunella and smudged the line with the black shadow from the Vol. 6 Eye Palette.  He applied a coat of Hourglass Film Noir Mascara, allowed it to dry, and then curled the lashes.  He amplified the eye look with individual lashes like Ardell Duralash Flare in Medium Black.

Next, Matthew applied the sheer rose shade from Hourglass Illume Crème-to-Powder Bronzer Duo in Sunset to the Amber's cheeks, and then highlighted with the sheer champagne shade from Hourglass Illume Crème-to-Powder Bronzer Duo in Bronze Light. He then finished with Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Ethereal Light to give the perfect glow.

To finish the look, he lined the lips with Hourglass Trace Lip Liner in Bare, and followed with Hourglass Femme Rouge Velvet Crème Lipstick in Whisper.
