Backstage hair looks for Badgley Mischka's spring 2011 fashion show

Backstage at the Badgley Mischka spring 2011 show, hair was done by Peter Gray using Moroccanoil hair products. The hair look was a nod to the big curls of the 70's that complimented the clothes beautifully. Maybe it's because I'm a curly-haired gal, but there's something about a head of voluminous curls that screams sensuality to me, especially when combined with the designs of a team like Badgley Mischka. Mark Badgley and James Mischka are known for creating garments that compliment a woman's body so perfectly, just like Moroccanoil is known for complimenting good hair. But enough of my ranting on how great it was, and on to the "how-to" section. To create this look, Gray used different sized curling irons to create all sorts of texture and volume. He started buy applying Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream to the entire length of the hair. He then sprayed sections of hair with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray and wound the sections around a curling iron, starting with a smaller barrel curling iron at the nape of the neck and progressing to larger barrels as he worked his way up towards the crown area. The curls were held in place with metal clips until closer to the show when they were ready to be combed out in to their proper shape.

After the curls were combed out in to their proper shapes, they were sprayed one last time with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray for hold and shine on the runway.
