The Real Roses I Want For Valentine's Day

Ok... I guess I'd take roses from my bf on Valentine's Day without complaint, but I want all these rose beauty products as well.  The best part about this list is I'm probably just going to buy 90% of it from Whole Foods today and call it a day.  TREAT YO SELF!

Juice Beauty x Gwyneth Paltrow PhytoPigments Liquid Lip
So while technically not a rose product, these lip colors are made of phytopigments (aka plant pigments) and for some of the colors, that does mean that roses were used to create the pigments.  The color payoff is REALLY good, the finish is high shine, and your lips will feel super moisturized.

Diptyque Rosaviola Candle
Diptyque candles are always amazing, so I think it's obvious why any of their candles would be on the list.  But this one smells of roses, lipstick and leather.  COME ON.  What's not to love?

Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream
This formula is made out of rose extract, shea butter, and avocado oil, so it has a super luxurious texture.  It's also great for sensitive skin because of ingredients, like St. John's Wort and marshmallow extract, that soothe.  Let's be serious, whose skin isn't a little sensitive right now if they're living in 11 degree weather, like those of us in NYC?

Andalou Naturals 1000 Roses Heavenly Night Cream
This sounds like the kind of thing my friends and I would joke about: 1,000 roses.  Sounds like when I'm being dramatic and say "I had 1,000 drinks last night".  But the name represents the power of plant stem cells that are the core of this product.  Science alleges that these fruit stem cells are 1,000 times more potent than typical products that might use plain ole fruit extracts.  I, for one, am a believer of SCIENCE, so I believe that this product made up of rosewater, rose essential oil, pomegranate, hyaluronic acid, and fruit stem cells, is a highly effective one.

Trilogy Rosehip Oil
This rosehip oil has achieved cult beauty status because...well...because rosehip is just effective.  That's it.  It was THE oil before Argan oil was even known about.  It's rich in fatty acids, soaks into the skin super fast, and is great for sensitive skin.  Not only is it great on the face, but it's good for scarring on the body as well.

Evan Healy Rose Cleansing Milk
This super gentle cleansing milk, made of ingredients like rose and yucca root, is great for a plethora of skin conditions.  The gentleness is great for sensitive skin.  The kaolin clay is purifying for those that are more on the oil or combination side.  Plant oils are moisturizing to help with dry skin.  It's pretty darn universal.  The best part is that the ingredients are part of sustainability efforts around the globe.  The ingredients in this particular product come from small farms or tribal villages in Washington, Colorado, Ghana, and South Africa.

Jason Naturals Rosewater Body Wash
The scent of this is somehow simultaneously light, yet lingering.  You smell like roses after using, but not obnoxiously so.  Soothing and moisturizing ingredients like Vitamin E, Vitamin B5, calendula, aloe, and chamomile make for a gentle, non-stripping body wash.

Le Couvent des Minimes Cloister Hand Cream
If you want a lightweight, moisturizing hand cream, but don't want to smell like a crazy old lady, this is the stuff for you.  The scent is subtle, like the Jason rosewater body wash above.  Lightly scented of rose, but not overpowering.  The texture is nice because you don't feel like your hands are so greasy that you can't touch anything for an hour.
