You don't have to be a bride to rock this look from Marchesa's Bridal Fashion Week show

Hair by Akemi Tamaribuchi for Kérastase Paris

Always a bridesmaid?  (#storyofmylife)  Well just because you're not a bride doesn't mean you can't rock this boho braided style from the Marchesa Fall 2015 Bridal Fashion Week show.  Without the flowers, this look is great for music festivals, second day hair, or to give interest to your 'do when you're going to be wearing a beanie all day.  Start by prepping hair with Kérastase Ciment Thermique to protect the hair from the heat of your blowdryer &/or other hot tools.  Next, use a generous amount of Mousse Bouffante to give volume.  Blow hair out with a blowdryer.  Once hair is dry, spray a generous amount of new Kérastase VIP (Volume In Powder) through the lengths of the hair for texture.  Wrap large sections of hair around a 1" curling iron to create loose waves.  Create a regular 3-strand braid at the back of the head and secure with an elastic.  The next part is the hardest (but really not that hard)... pick up 2 1/2" strands of hair and tie them into 2 consecutive knots to create a link, then secure the link with an elastic.  Do 5 or 6 of these knots around the head, sort of making a crown.  That's pretty much it!  If you were to do flowers in the style, you can spray them with Kérastase Laque Noire to really secure them into place.  Probably a good idea to use this spray regardless of whether you're doing the flowers or not.
