New York Fashion Week: Backstage at Lela Rose Spring 2014

Beauty.com sponsored the beauty look backstage at Lela Rose's Spring 2014 show, which, to me, means TONS of good beauty products that we can interpret from the runway and insert into our daily routines.
Hair: Ted Gibson
Gibson started with Build It Blow Drying Agent to protect the hair before blowing it out.  After creating a center part in the hair, he used Fix It Gel to smooth flyaways and prep for styling.  He used a small curling iron to curl the hair from the ears and downwards, making sure to keep the top straight.  He back-combed the wavy portion of the hair, sprayed with Beautiful Hold Hair Spray, and folded the teased section in on itself.  He pinned the cloudy mass of hair in its shape so it would stay in place, and sprinkled gold leaf flakes on it.

Makeup: Romy Soleimani for Stila
This makeup look was all about the pop of bold chartreuse shadow (Stila Eyeshadow in Cha Cha) and keeping everything else simple.  For the skin, all that was needed was a little smoothing out with Stila's new CC Cream Stick, and a little Stay All Day Concealer as needed.  The lips were kept subtle and soft with Stila Color Balm Lipstick in Betsey.

Nails: Katie Hughes for Butter London
Hughes created 2 looks for this show: one solid, matte nail color, and one 1/2 moon manicure.  The first look was created by using Lady Muck nail lacquer with Matte Finish top coat.  The second look was crated with Nail Foundation all over the nail, and then painting a 1/2 moon on the bottom portion of the nail, again using the Lady Muck shade.
