Get the look: Morena Baccarin at the 2013 Emmy Awards

Who: Morena Baccarin
What: 2013 Emmy Awards
Hair: Jill Crosby
Makeup: Lina Hanson

Hair:
Crosby started by creating a center part in Baccarin's wet hair.  She made 2 pin curls at the front on each side of Morena’s face, and secured them with clips.  Crosby dried the rest of the hair using the T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i Dryer and molding with her fingers to create a soft wave and keep some of the natural texture of the hair.  She added extensions to Baccarin's shorter length hair in order to create a chignon. (The extensions were first curled with the T3 SinglePass Whirl Wand in order to create texture and match the rest of Morena’s hair.)
Next, Crosby made a braid with the extensions and wound them into a chignon at the nape of the neck, pinning the style into place.  After the chignon was created, Crosby released the pin curls, and used the T3 SoftTouch 2 Diffuser with the T3 Featherweight Luxe 2i Dryer to in order to shape the pin curls around Baccarin's face.

Skin:
Baccarin's glowing skin is probably due to the fact that she's sporting a giant baby bump these days (why are pregnant women all glowy?  Prenatal vitamins or they're just radiating happiness?), but it sure doesn't hurt that she is a regular at the ARCONA Studio in Santa Monica.  Aesthetician Brandi Brown uses a mix of ARCONA’s Signature Facial Contouring and Organic Enzyme Peel treatments on Baccarin.  The day of the Emmy's Lina Hanson cleansed Baccarin's face with ARCONA Triad Pads (a personal fave of mine) before she applied ARCONA Magic White Ice to moisturize the skin.  Hanson used ARCONA Eye Dew around the eyes and ARCONA Desert Mist on Baccarin’s cheekbones, cheeks, and forehead for the perfect canvas for the makeup application.

Makeup:
Hanson started with an even layer of Bellapierre Mineral Compact Foundation in Nutmeg,  using a big fluffy powder brush, followed by Bellapierre Compact Bronzing Powder in Pure Element on the high points of the face (where the sun would hit; the forehead, nose, etc).  On Baccarin's eyes, Hanson used colors from the Bellapierre Shimmer 9Stack in Pandera.  She used Nude on the entire lid as a base color, followed by Sensation (taupe) in the crease.  She used a little Cocoa (bronze) just on top of the crease and blended it all in.  Next, she used Bellapierre Eyeliner Duo in black to create Baccarin's sultry cat eye, followed by Bellapierre Mascara in Black.
Hanson used Bellapierre Eyebrow Pencil in Dark Chocolate to emphasize Baccarin's eyebrows before moving on to the cheeks.  Bellapierre Compact Mineral Blush in Amaretto is the color Hanson chose to make the already glowy Baccarin even more so.  Next, she mixed Bellapierre lipsticks in Luminous and in Ruby on the lips, patting with a tissue to mattify the color.  She finished the look with one more sweep of the Foundation in Nutmeg before sending Baccarin down the Red Carpet.
