If you're not familiar with E.L.F. (eyes lips face) cosmetics, then this flagship store opening in NYC is the perfect chance to get acquainted. It's one of the last brands on earth that offers cool, trend-right makeup at these inexpensive prices. Since the brand's creation in 2004 it has only been available online, but now there is a location near NYU on 741 Broadway (at Astor) where you can touch and feel the hundreds of products that they offer. Obviously I couldn't help but do a haul while I was there celebrating the launch. Check out the steals that I got:
Shimmer Palette ($3)- a highlighter for every occasion! There's an opalescent white shade, a peachy shade, a pink tone, and a yellow-gold color.
Complete Coverage Concealer ($3)
Eye Enhancing Eyeshadow ($6)- I got the one for blue eyes (even though my eyes are green) because the colors are just too fun.
Complexion Perfection Powder ($3)
HD Blush ($3 each)
11 piece brush collection ($30)- ELEVEN brushes for $30? Some brands charge $30 per brush. This is a major score. They have plenty of other brush sets at the store, as well as single brushes that you can purchase to suit your needs.
