Beauty By Benz: Sephora + Pantone Universe color of the year: Emerald

Are you ready to get your Pantone on? Last year’s vibrant color of the year, Tangerine, was a fantastic intro the whole Sephora x Pantone Universe collabo, but I think this year’s Emerald is going to be one for the record books. I mean, who DOESN’T like emerald green? You’d have to be out of your mind. Every eye color can wear this shade, and wear it well. And it’s a phenomenal nail color. You can wear it subtly or you can go bold. It’s just phenomenal. (Can you tell green is one of my favorite colors? Pink is the other one. And the 2 colors combined in a print? Forget it.)
But enough about my opinion. Here’s what Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, has to say about the color:

“Green is the most abundant hue in nature – the human eye sees more green than any other color in the spectrum. Emerald, a perfectly balanced green, is a mix of warm and cool, which makes it so versatile and flattering to many skin tones”
