Get the look: Emily Van Camp at the 2012 Emmy's

Who:
Emily Van Camp
What:
2012 Emmy Awards

Hair:
John D.
How to:
-John prepped towel-dried hair with TRESemmé Smooth Salon Silk Serum and TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Foaming Mousse (both combined in the palm of his hand before applying to hair).
-Hair was blown dry using a round brush.
-1-2 inch sections of hair were curled using a small barrel curling iron, each section being sprayed with TRESemmé Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray as he went to protect hair from the heat or the iron.
-Once all hair was curled and curls were allowed to cool, hair was brushed out with a small bristle brush, and backcombed for a little volume.
-John created a deep side part, pulling the hair into a loose ponytail at one side of the nape of the neck (then secured with band).
-The ponytail was twisted into a full chignon at the nape and secured with bobby pins.
- TRESemmé TRES Two Ultra Fine Mist Non-Aerosol Hairspray was the finishing touch to keep the look in place all night.

Makeup:
Rosie Johnston
-Rosie used Talika’s Instant Beauty as a primer using a foundation brush all over the face, but focusing on the T-zone.
-Next she used the Talika Eyebrow Extender in Dark Brown to help emphasize Emily’s already great brows.  She applied it straight through once to darken up the brow, then went back and applied in areas that were a little more sparse.  She used this as a base for a little shadow used to fill them in later.
-On Emily’s lashes, Rosie used Talika’s Heated Eyelash Curler, followed by a light coat of mascara.
-When the lashes were still wet, she applied the Talika Lash Extender, and another coat of thicker mascara on top.
