Backstage at Timo Weiland Spring 2013

The look backstage at Timo Weiland may have been inspired by 90's hip-hop, but it's definitely still a look we can rock today.  Joseph DiMaggio gave us a braided 'do that is definitely different than the waterfall and fishtails we are used to (it's more of a twist really), while James Boehmer gave us beautiful skin with a shock of blue at the lash line.
Makeup:
James Boehmer, NARS Director of Global Artistry opted for natural, glowy skin using Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer SPF30 and The Multiple in South Beach or Palm Beach depending on the model's skintone.  He used the Mad Mad World Duo Eyeshadow (available spring 2013) pictured below to create the bold blue line above the lash line using a damp angled liner brush, but you can get the look now using Outremer Single Eyeshadow.  For a sheer glossy lip he used 2 more products that are out in spring 2013: Cythere Velvet Gloss Lip Pencil and Floralies Satin Lip Pencil.

Hair:
Joseph DiMaggio started the female models off with some L'Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil Milk to smooth their strands before parting the hair, securing the bottom half of the part into a ponytail.  The ponytail was crimped and a small section from underneath was used to wrap around the ponytail holder.  On the top half he used L'Oréal Professionnel Finishing Infinium 3 Strong Hold Working Spray and started creating twists, which he secured into the ponytail one at a time.  The last step was some L'Oréal Professionnel Perfect Shimmer Shine Illuminating Mist on the ends for shine.
On the men L'Oréal Professionnel Architexture was used to coat the hair, and the strong diagonal part they were given was further emphasized using a flesh-colored NARS Larger Than Life pencil in Rue Bonaparte.
