HSN's Forsaken Collection: inspired by True Blood

If you’re as obsessed with True Blood as I am (like read all the books and watch the show religiously) then you’ll be very excited for The Forsaken Collection by HSN, which is inspired by the show.  The collection makes its debut on HSN on August 9, 2012, and consists of a fragrance developed by Givaudan, home goods from D.L. & Co, and Deborah Lippmann’s first ever lip color (!) with a corresponding nail lacquer shade.
The Forsaken fragrance will be available to consumers in an EDP, a body cream and shimmering body powder.  The fragrance is totally dark and vampy, capturing the soul of the show and combining it with trendsetting, iconic products.  The fragrance opens up with pulpy fruits and crisp pear notes.  A sultry mid note of Queen of the Night (night-blooming jasmine) is totally fitting for a True Blood-esque fragrance.  The scent closes with dark notes of amber and patchouli.
Deborah Lippmann developed the nail lacquer that smells like the Forsaken fragrance, called “Let It Bleed”, that will be available in a set with her FIRST EVER lipstick, “Bite Me”.
Lippmann created two additional sets for the collection:
-“Sookie Sookie”- featuring full-sized bottles of “Human Nature,” “Fairydust” and “Bad Things”.
-A trio of minis including “Strange Love,” “New Flesh”, and “Bad Blood.”
The collection is completed with a specialty line of home products from D. L. & Co., which includes luxury candles and diffusers with the Forsaken scent.
