Agua Bendita SS2013 collection

Backstage, TRESemmé stylists Elsa Canedo and Marco Pena gave the models wet, wavy hair that was full of texture to mix in with the rainforest-inspired backdrop that the show was set against.  They started by using TRESemmé Ultra Firm Control Gel on the sides and the top of the hair, finger-combing the sides.  Hair was blown dry to set the finger-combed section and secure the wet look.  TRESemmé Split Remedy Sealing Serum was used through the lengths of the hair, avoiding the roots where the gel was set, to give some fluidity to the waves.  The hair was finished with TRESemmé TRES Two Ultra Fine Mist Hairspray and hit with a final blast of heat from the blow-dryer.

My favorite pieces of the collection, as you can probably guess, were the ones styled back to embellished jackets.  Sequins and military-inspired patches were seen throughout the show on various cover-ups.

I love a little retro-feel bikini.  The peek-a-boo lace detailing on this top is just adorable.
The high-waisted retro bikini bottom made an appearance in all of Friday's shows, so more on that later!
Printed leggings as a cover-up option!  A natural extension of all the printed denim leggings you see all over now.
The designers behind Agua Bendita, Catalina Alvarez and Mariana Hinestrova, called the collection "Lovely Heroes", which was inspired by none other than the people who hand-make each of the pieces.
