“Pastel colors will be around all Spring and Summer. I think everyone is ready for a little break from being so conservative and with something as fun as color, you can't miss. It has always been risky in the past but now with the colors being muted and not overbearing, everyone can wear it as long as it is just a secret piece or a small panel of color.”
About working with January:
“January is such a fashion enthusiast and we always talk about designers and the shows. I was following the shows for spring/summer and was looking for trends and colors to incorporate into my work when I came across rose gold highlights from the Peter Som runway. I asked January to check out the trend online and she loved it.”
And how Jennifer mixed the color:
“She really is a perfect candidate because she has amazing style and isn't afraid to take risks. Additionally, her hair is always gorgeous and we have been doing the same color for about 8 years so I thought it would be fun to try. I brought a bunch of different colors to her house and the color was custom blended there with Wella Professional KP concentrated mixer and a punky color that I brought as well from my Salon. When the color looked perfect, we went for it and the outcome was amazing on her already pastel blonde hair.”
