This is huge! Shu Uemura is holding the first Beauty Art Makeup Competition in North America. Starting March 8th, aspiring makeup artists can register for a chance to participate in the contest. A panel of judges will pick 20 artists out of the bunch, who will be given 5 challenges, and the videos will be posted on Shu Uemura's Facebook page. Fans of the Facebook page get to vote on the looks, and the contestants will be narrowed down to 5 finalists. The 5 selected finalists get to travel to Luminato, Toronto Festival of Arts and Creativity, where they will compete in the final makeup challenge. One lucky winner will be selected to become a member of the Shu Uemura makeup artist team and represent the brand in North America.
This is a huge opportunity for an up-and-coming MUA, so make sure you register to compete on the Facebook page!
This year's theme is Mystic Nature, and I can't wait to see how the makeup artists are inspired by all the beautiful colors found in nature.

this is really awesome..I wish I was a MUA but im not but it will be alot of fun seeing all the looks created :)
