New York Fashion Week: Norman Ambrose AW2011

A nod to old school elegance. The Norman Ambrose AW2011 was split in to day and evening wear, but both were super luxe. Fur played a central role in the collection, as did feathers and rich, textural fabrics like boucle, suede, and cashmere.

The daywear:

Check out this intricately knit green cashmere cardigan with sable cuff on top, with a cashmere knit sweater underneath and wool plaid pants.

The evening looks:

Notice the details like fur stoles paired with sequin dresses, or sequined gowns with ostrich feather trim.
