Swanky hair at the SAG awards

Last night at the SAG awards Hilary Swank was the picture of elegance (and fitness! Holy crap, that chick is buff) in a Versace gown. But just as feminine as the gown was Hilary's gorgeous curls. Stylist Robert Vetica tells us how he achieved this look using Moroccanoil hair products.
Step 1: Vetica blew Hilary's hair dry using Moroccanoil original hair treatment ($41.80) to condition the hair and add shine.
Step 2: Rather than using hot rollers, Vetica used a 1" curling iron to create a full head set. He curled the hair, starting at the nape of the neck, pinning curls along the way, and worked his way to the crown. (So they were not spirals, they were traditional set curls). After he reached the crown, he finished off the sides and the top of the head.
Step 3: After the curls were pinned, he sprayed them with a generous amount of Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray ($21) and let them set for 20 minutes.
Step 4: Vetica removed the set and brushed the hair out. He applied Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream ($31.80) to add body and shine.
Step 5: Vetica backcombed Hilary's hair at the roots and then sprayed with hairspray again. He brushed out the backcombing, except for the crown, raking his fingers through the hair to loosen it up. A little more backcombing, another shot of Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray, one last brushing over the top, and Swank was Red Carpet-ready.
