Natalie Portman's hair at the Black Swan premiere

Few things get me more excited than movies about dancing. But a movie about dancing where the acting is probably going to be good? This is unprecedented. I simply can't wait to see this movie, but for now I'll to settle for the scoop on Natalie Portman's hair at the New York premiere.
Stylist John D. went for seriously sexy drama with Portman's hair this go-round. Because she was wearing a Dior dress with a voluminous bottom, he wanted the hair to have both volume and movement. Who else to turn to buy my fave: Moroccanoil.
First, John D. started by blowing Portman's hair out with a round brush and some Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream to protect against damage, moisturize, and smooth fly-aways. (Basically, it's a miracle cream).

Next up he used a 1" curling iron to twirl sections all around her head, making sure to curl away from the face in the front. It was raining in NY this particular evening (what a shock) so to make sure the volume held up he sprayed the curls with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray. This gives hold without stickiness, so he was able to then loosen the curls up with a paddle brush and spray the hair AGAIN without any sort of flaking or residue build-up.

To finish off the look, he used Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray for some sheen.

Some inside scoop tells me Dior also did the makeup for the party, which doesn't surprise me, as word is going around that she's the new Dior girl. She was looking very glamorous that evening, and her 'do held up in the rain.
