Holiday gifts: stocking stuffer edition

With a family full of "characters", I constantly have to switch it up with the gifts that I give. I may not be the best gift-giver in life, but I sure can fill a stocking with beauty products. With so many different personalities in my life, here are some of my ideas for stocking stuffers for this holiday season:
For the chocolate lover:
Freeman chocolate and strawberry detoxifying mask ($3.99). This is such a cute gift, and Freeman masks have been known for being affordable, while still being effective. You may have to give a disclaimer that he/she can't eat the mask. For mor face masks, visit Freemanbeauty.com.

For the teenager (or the Marcia Brady of the family that's always brushing their hair):
Goody chic-touch brushes. Cute and colorful, just like the person you're buying it for. This is for the head cheerleader or teen who sings in to their brush-microphone in the mirror all day. Not that I did that when I was younger... All Goody brushes are under $10 at Target.com.

For the Starbucks fanatic:
Instead of giving your typical Starbucks gift card this year, why not throw in a tea-infused body lotion as well? This Jason tea-infused hand and body lotion in Bengal Spice smells absolutely delectable. This has such a holiday scent to it, with notes of chai spice, cloves, and cinnamon. All the lotions in this collection ($9.95) are infused with Celestial Seasonings herbal tea, with scents like Country Peach Passion, Lemon Zinger, and, my all-time favorite tea, Sleepytime. The lotions are super nourishing with Vitamin B5, avocado, and sunflower oils. They are made of 100% natural fragrances, free of parabens, and 100% cruelty-free. That's a lot of awesome-ness packed in to one little bottle of lotion. Check out more about Jason natural products on their website.

For the dude:
Jack Black has an incredible selection of manly-man products. It's hard to get guys to care for their skin, or their hair, or anything that doesn't have to do with football, but Jack Black makes it a touch easier with their non-descript blue packaging and quality products. Dependent on the size of the stocking (or the needs of the man I suppose) their is an array of products to choose from.

You can try an introductory gift set like Performance Ready Set ($32) for the athlete or outdoor-sy gentleman in your life. It contains a sunscreen, lip balm, hair & body wash, and a pain-relieving Relief & Recovery Cream.
For the dirty boy, the construction worker, or essentially any man who needs a tip in grooming, try one of the super-sized bottles of product. Turbo Wash energizing hair and body cleanser is $50 for a giant 33-oz bottle.

A 16 oz bottle of industrial strength Hand Healer is a great gift for someone who could use a lesson in moisturizing.
A great gift to give any man who shaves is Beard Lube conditioning shave. It leaves skin smooth and moisturized, without fragrances, alcohol, or colorants. A 16 oz bottle is $32, and this is great for a guy you want to snuggle up with. The best part for me, besides doing impromptu man-makeovers, is that I can go to Sephora to pick up these goods and peruse the aisles for presents for myself.

For your going-out girlfriends:
Enough about the men, eh? For your girlfriends that love to get dolled up for a night out, you can find some wallet-friendly options of E.L.F. cosmetics.
e.l.f. Studio 11 Piece Brush Collections

Try this 11-piece brush collection for $10. It includes an eyeshadow brush, complexion brush, small angled brush, small smudge brush, fan brush, powder brush, angled foundation brush, concealer brush, small precision brush, blush brush, and contouring brush.
e.l.f. Essentials Nail Polish
e.l.f. Essentials Nail Polish
e.l.f. Essentials Nail Polish
Even better, their nail polish is $1 each. (1 for you, 1 for me!) Try a fun holiday/party color like Golden Goddess, Metal Madness, or Party Purple.

For the tattoo-wearer:
Hey, I said I have a lot of colorful individuals in my life. Though most people with tats like to show them off, most know that there are a few occasions in life where they need to cover them up. Dermablend's Leg and Body Tattoo Primer ($25) is sure to cover up the ole artwork if ever in need. This can also double-up as a gift for someone who has severe dark circles under their eyes, spider veins, or a scar that they cover up. It gives 12 hours of coverage, while soothing and moisturizing skin.

For mom, or the mother-in-law:
Luxury is the only way to go, and if there is one brand that sums up beauty luxury, it is Clé De Peau Beauté. CDP has a limited-edition holiday Vintage Palette ($125 at Saks, Neiman Marcus, Barneys, or Bergdorf Goodman) that is a makeup-lover's dream. The palette gives radiance to the skin with its 5-shade powder blend of golds and coppers.

And finally, for the girl that you're not related to... but maybe one day:
Aka: the brother's girlfriend. I have 2 brothers and their girlfriends are like sisters to me. One day they might be if all goes as planned (flash to me making a diabolical, scheming face). As you can imagine, these gals are constantly inundated with makeup and beauty products from me. I'm sure they don't mind. But what to shove in their stockings? One Bath & Body has a nice selection of sweet-smelling body treats, and they're available at the shopping wonderland that is Target. Eco-friendly and inexpensive, this will definitely be thrown in the stockings this year.
After-shower skin conditioner in Nighty-Nite. ($5.99)
Real Shea Body Butter in Citrus Peel. ($8.99)
Body Lotion in Cloud 9 ($9.14).

Hope this post helps you to fill your stockings with love and beauty. Stay tuned for more holiday gift ideas.
