Can't wait for pops of color from Guerlain's spring 2011 makeup collection

All this talk of Holiday gift-giving is fun, but I’m really looking forward to Guerlain’s Sur Me Levres spring 2011 collection for an electric pop of color. The collection consists of a 6-color eyeshadow palette in limited edition shade Rue De Rivoli ($84), 4 limited edition Rouge G lipstick colors ($46 each), and a limited edition Blush G ($65) that looks almost too good to use.

Housed in a black lacquer case, the Rouge G lipstick colors come in a lightweight, creamy formula that leaves lips shiny and tinted in devilishly fun colors. The limited edition colors are Rouge Sensuel, Orange Euphorique, Fuchsia Délice, and Rose Désir.

I simply can’t wait to try the Blush G ($65). Although the colors look aggressive, this is exactly the kind of palette you need in your makeup repertoire for spring. The 4 colors can blend together for a natural looking flush, or you can use the individual colors separately. The lighter colors are perfect to use as highlighers, but the bright pink and orange are great to use on the apples of your cheeks to give you that just-pinched glow.

The collection is available in January at select Saks, Neiman Marcus, Sephora, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, and Bergdorf Goodman. I'm counting the days!
