Thuy Spring 2011 show- New York Fashion Week day 4

Thuy Diep is one of those designers I love because she always remains true to herself. These are clothes that she loves, regardless of whatever is trend-right at the moment. Backstage she told a fellow blogger that the Spring 2011 collection is simply about embracing her femininity. She wanted shapes that accentuate a women's curves, shapes that are flowy and easy. This collection, much like her fall collection that I loved so much, had great colors like grapes, oranges, and mustard yellows.

MAKE UP FOR EVER was backstage making the models catwalk-ready. Aqua Cream in #13 was applied to model's inner eye, and a loose shimmer (#3) was used to highlight the cheek and brow bones.

Models lips were painted with new Rouge Artiste Intense lipstick in #39, which is a satiny coral color. Rouge Artiste Intense is MAKE UP FOR EVER's newest installment of long-lasting colors that are at your disposable. MAKE UP FOR EVER is the makeup line that all the pro's use, but it is available to us everyday folk at Sephora. This lipstick is not only highly pigmented and long-wearing, but it's available in over 50 shades. All different finishes (matte, pearly, and satin), you're sure to find the right color for you in this range.

  2. Their makeup is phenomenal! I've been backstage at so many shows, and all the pros use it. If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me.
