Tadashi Shoji's Spring 2011 presentation at New York Fashion Week was elegance defined. The icy color palette was inspired by the Venetian landscape, and the entire collection was an homage to 15th century Renaissance frescos.
Hair was classic and makeup was clean, because you can't take away from these beautiful garments with crazy styling. When you have light and airy gowns, you have to have fresh makeup.
The golden dress pictured is silk and lace tiers, and the printed silk organza dress next to it looks as light as air.
These dresses were silk chiffon with hand cut flower details.
This silk chiffon and tulle gown (again with the hand cut flowers) was breathtaking.
