After sloshing through a snowstorm, it was quite refreshing to see a show where the models were wearing Timberland boots rather than super-high heels. But don't let that take away from the real genius that is Richard Chai. The effortless juxtaposition of masculine and feminine touches in his clothing is not only eye-catching, it's wearable. He played with delicious fabrics like printed silk shirts with wool leggings, or a twill slouchy pant layered with a merino wool sweater. Slicked-back hair on the models probably matched many of the New York snow-bunnies attending the show, but pair that hair with red lips and the girls were looking almost as magnificent as the clothes.
Armed with my boyfriend's Flip video camcorder, I attempt to bring you the looks from the Richard Chai Fall 2010 Show!
